Seven words that are important in Linden |

Rooted. in the historic Christian Faith – guided by the Bible, learning to be followers of Jesus, valuing the church in her many forms. Seeking to express the nature and person of Jesus.
Encounter: with God. Space for mystery and wonder.
Exploration: and journeys of faith; room for process and development. Faith is not something rationalized, predictable and neatly definable but is dynamic, growing and evolving.
Diversity: different backgrounds, styles, approaches, perspectives. We have so much to learn from each other.
Creativity: that is reflective of a creative God. Imagination and innovation.
Relationships: welcoming; belonging; accepting. A community of faith, forgiveness, challenge, learning, encouragement and generosity.
Mission: being involved, beyond ourselves, expressing and demonstrating God’s love for the whole world. The church exists for the benefit of those not in it.

 We have a team at Linden that shares responsibility for leading the church.
They are, from left to right, Andy Dallas, Chris Matthews, Phillipa Sampson, Tim Brown and Tim Oakes, and they bring different talents and giftings to complement each other's work in the team. Chris works full-time for Linden and represents the church in all sorts of contexts.
